Wedding Registry —Must Haves

YAY—you’re getting married!! I’m currently in my bridal era too, and it’s honestly the most fun season. My fiancé and I started building our registry the old-school way—walking around the store with the little scan gun, tagging everything we loved. But once we got home and looked at it all online, I realized that half the stuff we picked probably wouldn’t even get used!

So we did a little reset and started focusing on items that were not only personal and meaningful, but actually practical for our day-to-day lives. Especially living in a one-bedroom apartment in NYC, we don’t have much cabinet space to spare—so every item has to earn its keep!

Here are a few registry items that i’m obsessed with.

Truthfully, anything from MacKenzie-Childs has my whole heart—it’s all just so perfect. A high-end teapot, for example, is one of those pieces that checks all the boxes: it’s beautiful enough to display as home decor, but also totally functional for everyday use—especially if you’re a tea lover like me!

Luggage is one of those things that needs a refresh every few years—especially with how beat up it gets from travel. Away luggage has been one of my favorite finds; it’s super durable and comes in so many cute colors. It’s definitely one of those super practical registry picks that still feels like an exciting gift!

This is one of my absolute favorite gifts to give brides! It includes all the essential paperwork to make changing your last name as easy and stress-free as possible. It’s such a thoughtful little helper during the post-wedding chaos!

There’s nothing quite like brand new towels—such a simple luxury, but one that makes a big difference. These are definitely a “you can’t go wrong” kind of gift. I always go for the bath sheet length for that extra bit of coziness!

These are the best for right after you wash your fruit—perfect for grab-and-go snacking. Plus, it’s a nice little upgrade from keeping fruit in plastic containers. Not only does it look better, but it's also gentler on your fruit!

Hatch is the perfect gift to help you gently wake up in the morning and wind down at night. It’s one of those thoughtful, everyday items that both the bride and groom will love—and actually use daily. Even our dog Hadley takes herself to bed when she hears it turn on.

Riedel wine glasses are truly the crème de la crème of glassware. They’re definitely a splurge, but if you’re a wine lover (or gifting to one!), they’re 100% worth it. Elegant, timeless, and such a beautiful addition to any home bar or dinner table.

Would it really be a registry guide if the KitchenAid mixer wasn’t on it? This classic is so versatile and hands-down one of my all-time favorite kitchen gadgets. From baking to pasta making (and everything in between), it’s a total powerhouse that you'll use for years to come.
